Dr. Jordan Butler grew up in Northwest Iowa and has strong roots in the agriculture industry. She knew from a very early age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She had many great bird dogs, quarter horses and critters to practice on growing up. She attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology. She then went on to obtain a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State in 2014. Dr. Butler started her career here in Minnesota and spent the last ten years working at a small animal practice.
Her special interests include reproductive medicine, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery. She is passionate about brachycephalic breeds and their special needs and accommodations. Dr. Butler looks forward to being a trusted advisor for you and your pets. She values the human-animal bond and wants to help your pet live the longest, healthiest life possible!
Dr. Butler and her husband, Chris, have three small children. Two girls and one boy that keep them very active and involved in their community! She has a black Labrador named Doc Holliday and a Quarter Horse named Grayson. Her daughters are also urging her to get a new lab puppy! She frequently volunteers for the Miracle of Birth at the Minnesota State Fair and mentors veterinary students. In her free time, she enjoys college football, horseback riding, hiking, boating, and drinking Diet Coke.
